Got an older boiler?
Older boilers can still be covered, provided they are in good working order and replacement parts are available. If your boiler is older or has had previous issues, we’ll check its condition and let you know what level of support may be suitable.
If we can’t offer a plan for your boiler, we’ll explain why and talk you through your options, whether that’s a one-off repair, annual servicing or a replacement boiler quote.

What does an annual boiler service include?
An annual boiler service includes a series of safety and performance checks carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. This can include checking for leaks, signs of wear, safe operation, correct gas use and whether the boiler is releasing harmful gases safely through the flue.
Do I need a boiler service every year?
Yes, it is strongly recommended that your boiler is serviced every year. Annual servicing helps keep your boiler safe, supports efficient operation and may be required to maintain your manufacturer’s warranty.
Are repairs included?
Repairs can be included depending on the service plan you choose. Some plans may include boiler and controls only, while others may include wider central heating support. Full inclusions should be confirmed in the plan terms.
Are parts and labour included?
Parts and labour may be included on selected plans, subject to terms, limits and exclusions. We’ll make this clear before you choose a plan.
Can I get cover for an older boiler?
Older boilers may be eligible if they are in good working order and replacement parts are still available. If your boiler cannot be covered, we’ll explain your options clearly.
Is there a waiting period?
All plans come with a 14-day no-claims period and a 14-day cooling-off period. You can cancel within 14 days for a full refund if no services have been delivered. See our terms and conditions for full details.
Can landlords use a boiler service plan?
Yes, boiler service plans can be useful for landlords who want ongoing servicing and maintenance support for rental properties. A landlord-specific plan could also include annual gas safety checks if required.
What happens if my boiler cannot be repaired?
If your boiler cannot be repaired or parts are no longer available, we’ll explain the issue and advise on your replacement options. We can also provide a quote for a new energy-efficient boiler.
